AlmaVerde partner with leading trainer and lifestyle coach, Paul Sansome
Leading Personal Trainer, Lifestyle Coach, and originator of the ‘Boot Camp’ training concept, Paul Sansome, has developed a unique new ‘Slim & Trim’ course which incorporates a week soaking up some winter sunshine at the luxury wellness resort, AlmaVerde Village & Spa, in the Algarve.
The 13 week course, which starts in January and includes the retreat at AlmaVerde in late February, is perfect for those wanting to lose a few inches after the festive season and to make good on their new year resolutions to eat better and exercise more. The courses are currently offered half price at just £599 per person. This is tremendous value for money and will be available for a limited time only.
Awarded ‘UK Fitness Personality of the Year’*, Paul Sansome has, over his twenty years of professional experience, trained thousands of individuals, including athletes, dancers, celebrities and politicians. Famous for developing the ‘Boot Camp’ training concept, which has now been adopted world-wide, Paul has a strong, ethics-based approach to training which delivers results, as is proven by the number of clients who return to his London-based personal training service.
The ‘Slim & Trim’ course is aimed at reducing body fat and body size, as well as converting body composition (lean mass ratio) using individualised, prescriptive exercise programmes together with a healthy eating plan. The programme kicks off with an initial consultation with Paul at Profile Health & Fitness Club, situated within the prestigious Hilton London Euston. The courses start in January 2009 and run throughout the year.
The highlight of the course is a week’s stay in a luxury villa with a pool at AlmaVerde, near Lagos, in week 4-6. The week will involve fun, but rewarding, exercise in and around the region on the beautiful beaches and in the nearby Costa Vicentina Natural Park. During the stay, participants enjoy a healthy eating regime and can take advantage of the facilities of the resort which include four synthetic grass tennis courts and a Wellness Centre offering a wide range of therapies and treatments. See www.almaverde.com.
The price for the course is £599 per person, which includes a 6 week membership at Profile Health & Fitness Club at Hilton London Euston, a personalised assessment and programme, and a week’s accommodation in a luxury villa at AlmaVerde with full board and a supervised activity programme. Flights are not included.
Emily Gregory, a Buyer at Network Rail, and a client of Paul Sansome says: “Paul helped me drop nearly 2 dress sizes in 12 weeks. His style and technique is amazing – he pushes his clients but only to their own personal limit. His knowledge with regards to anything to do with fitness and nutrition is phenomenal and he’s always amazing me with facts!”
Paul also trains Dr Damian Pattinson, Editor of the British Medical Journal, who says: “I would certainly recommend Paul as a top Personal Trainer - his enthusiasm, motivation and knowledge (including an impressive understanding of nutrition and medicine) mean that he can produce amazing results even in people as unfit as me!”
